Welcome to the American Meteorological Society Student Chapter at the University of Utah!
The AMS student chapter is for students at the University of Utah who are interested in meteorology and the surrounding sciences, such as air chemistry, climate change, environmental instrumentation, snow science, etc. Most students in the organization have declared majors of Atmospheric Science and range from freshman to senior. The AMS organizes various activities for students that range from hikes and weather balloon launches to community outreach events.
